Mint and Coriander Chutney


Handful of Mint Leaves

Handful of Coriander Leaves

1 Green Chillies (optional)

2 cloves Garlic

1 small Onion

1 small Tomato


½ a raw mango


1 Tbsp dry Pomegranate Seeds


1 Lime


1 Tbsp of yoghurt


Put all except the mint and the lime in a food processor. When it’s almost a paste add and blend the mint. I add the mint later as it gets bitter if it’s blended for too long.

Squeeze the juice of the lime into the chutney, or one of the other souring ingredients.

The best way to make this is in a stone mortar and pestle.
